​​Timing must be strictly adhered to, random checks will be made.

 

Dancers may enter more than once in a duet, trio or quartet section, providing it is with a different partner, or if the same partner then a different genre. 

​

No pointe work in Mini or Petite Sections.

 

Age of the competitor is taken as of the day before the competition.

 

No vocals are allowed on music being used for Song & Dance - BACKING TRACKS ONLY.

 

The adjudicators decision is final, complaints or appeals can be placed by the principal of the dance school no later than 30 mins after the dance has competed. 

 

Spirit of Dance accepts no responsibility for any injuries or damages sustained by any competitor.

 

Spirit of Dance accepts no responsibility for the loss of any personal belongings.

 

Dressing Rooms will be provided, they will be allocated by Spirit of Dance & should be left tidy with all rubbish in the bins provided. 

 

Admission for spectators will be on the day ONLY. Adults (16+) - £12.50pp, Children (3+) - £8.50pp & Programmes - £2.50 each

 

Food & Drinks will be on sale throughout the Competition from our pop-up cafe. 

 

Trophy presentation will be at the end of the Competition. 

 

Only competitors & Teachers with a current enhanced DBS or valid chaperone license are allowed backstage.

 

Teachers are responsible for their students behaviour at all times. The teacher is responsible for checking the dressing rooms, to ensure everything is returned to how it was found before leaving the premises. 

 

We have a zero tolerance policy regarding behaviour towards, staff, dance schools & fellow competitors. If you are believed to be in violation of our policies & have acted inappropriately, at the discretion of Spirit of Dance, we reserve the right to remove your dance school from the remainder of the Competition.
